About Internship

During Internship Program Let’s Activate IT! you’ll be right at the heart of major projects, working with teams of passionate people and helping us to create the next awesome thing. Our program is an opportunity to gain direct practical work experience. You will get a chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice and contribute to projects significant for the business while bringing unique perspectives to the company.

With this program, we invite candidates from the market to start their first practical experience in IT world and learn new skills and practices from best experts – our employees! Choose between two development tracks – Technology Path or Business Path – and pair up with a mentor who will provide guidance, support and insight into our ET&S strategy.

You will join a company taking care of people and lots of fun. We offer you paid internship in our two main locations – great cities of Warsaw and Gdańsk - depending on the location of the team to which you apply. Check next sections to find more details about the program.

Business path

Business path

If you thrive in a collaborative and agile work environment, this program provides you with the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience across multiple functions. The Business Path is aimed at people who want to learn about areas such as project management, business scaling and consulting business solutions.

You will develop your analytical, project management, creativity, presentation, collaboration and communication skills.

Intern in Transformation team

You will be a part of Transformation Management Division. You will support the team in change management and transformation projects. You will have the opportunity to participate in the projects and contribute to shaping business solutions, gain exposure to many stakeholders, receive a chance to work in a very global environment. You will also learn how to prepare and present the presentations valuable to business.

Factors to succeed in this role? Very good command of English, interest in business and change management, creativity, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy, growth mindset.

Intern in SAP team

You will be a part of the Software Division. You will support a team consulting SAP projects and supporting the customers. You will support the team with analysis and presenting to stakeholders. You will learn how to understand and address the business needs.

Factors to succeed in this role? Analytical thinking, drawing conclusions, connecting the dots, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy, growth mindset.

Technology path

Technology path

Technology path is designed for aspiring software engineers and people interested in IT service management just entering the tech industry.

You’ll work on exciting live projects and feature work with the help of our experienced mentors and managers.

Intern in Web Development team with JAVA

You will be a member of Technology Division. You will be a member of one of the Scrum teams developing web applications and support the team with performing tasks from the backlog. In your daily work you will support the team in finding solutions to the tasks in the backlog, test them and eventually – code them!

Factors to succeed in this role? Knowledge of a programming language (preferred JAVA), good command of English, GIT knowledge, problem solving, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy, growth mindset.

Intern in Web Development team with JavaScript

You will be a member of Technology Division. You will be a member of one of the Scrum teams developing web applications and support the team with performing tasks from the backlog. In your daily work you will support the team in finding solutions to the tasks in the backlog, test them and eventually – code them!

Factors to succeed in this role? Knowledge of a programming language (preferred JavaScript), good command of English, GIT knowledge, problem solving, communication and collaboration skills, digital literacy, growth mindset.

Intern in Service Management Support team

You will be a member of Infrastructure and Operations Division. You will support the team of senior service managers in their responsibilities - managing service levels, supporting operational activities and daily tasks. You will also have an opportunity to inspect and support solving tasks related to problem and incident management. Furthermore, you will get a chance to work in a global, international environment.

Factors to succeed in this role? Good command of English, basic skills in IT, collaboration and communication skills, digital literacy, growth mindset.

During your interview, we are looking to learn more about you, your skill set, and the kind of work that excites you. This will help us match you with our team and future responsibilities.

Interviews at ET&S typically include virtual coffee with our Recruitment Team, and take-home assessment followed by meeting with your future manager. Your interviewers will be evaluating your technical, role-specific, and behavioral skills.  Although we believe in everyone's potential, we mark contact with only selected candidates.

FAQ

  • The program is for the candidates from the market who would like to enter the IT world.

  • It depends on the path you select. You can check the roles / areas and locations here.

  • The job offers are available on our website and on Pracuj.pl job board - the application needs to be always submitted via our systems using “Apply” button.

  • It is very much like our standard recruitment processes - we will contact selected candidates, ask to complete a recruitment task and organize an interview.

  • Approximately 6 months.

  • The program starts in September 2023.

  • During the program, we offer contracts of mandate.

  • Yes, program participants will receive the remuneration for the internship. 

  • Partially, yes, however it is crucial to be available in the location where the team is located to know the specific of the tasks better. We believe that collaboration side by side will support growing competences quickly.

  • Generally - yes, the tasks we have planned will take approximately 40 hours a week. Working schedule will be consulted and approved individually.

  • For the time being we do not provide such an option. The roles are diverse, we use different technologies or require different set of skills per role. We did our best to describe the roles in details, so you can select the one closest to your area of interest.

  • We do not support relocation to join the program. Please select one of the locations based on your preference.

  • You will participate in the company onboarding both on site and remotely and pair up with a mentor and buddy who will provide guidance, support and insight into our ET&S strategy and the projects you will support.

  • Most of our teams work in scrum which means they have a significant impact on the tasks they do and how they do them. Our teams are diverse, but always full of supportive colleagues.

  • Yes, you will work using company laptop.

  • No, we don’t have a dress code in ET&S.
